Accomodations

Santiago has a lot of different accommodations varying in prize, location and quality. LIPS 2017 has agreed with some hotels in Santiago special rates for conference participants. The following is the current list with contact information for making reservations in those hotels. When booking, please indicate you want to use the “Universidad Católica” rate to attend the conference.

Hotel Neruda - is a four-star hotel, incredibly well situated in the heart of Providencia’s neighborhood. It is just a few steps from Pedro de Valdivia´s metro station and forty kilometers from the nearest ski resort.
The rooms at Hotel Neruda are spacious, elegant and comfortable. All rooms have private baths with bath tub, queen beds, air conditioning and heating, cable, minibar and a safety deposit box. The triples rooms stands out for its size, 56 m2, and its 3 queen beds.
The hotel has free Wi-Fi in all facilities and makes available parking upon availability. American breakfast buffet is served from Monday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and on Sundays and holidays from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The hotel’s restaurant serves international and local cuisine, mainly inspired by the Mapuche´s gastronomy, and offers a variety of wine selection.
Additionally the hotel has a heated swimming pool and gym open from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
